Exactly.
But I think these sites are a scam. If they actually have exploits on thier site
I guess on the positive side, they are helping the devs with qa testing because all the exploit they find can be brought to the attention of anyone willing to pony up the money....

No, it is merly against the EULA. This means that they can ban your account but they have no legal footing to do anything in court.

Meh, let the idiots pay money to get ahead in an online game... They're losing a lot more in life. Hopefully they have to download a "hack" for the game, and in the process their account is stolen and given to a person who will get money from it or use it properly.
Sorry, I'm just fed up with the masses of morons and idiots who inhabit this planet. They DESERVE what's coming to them.

The sites (gold sellers, account sellers, exploit sellers) are not wrong in a moral or legal way.
There is a reason why game companies avoid them as best as they can. Or join them, look at sony.
The current US government has no interest in online gaming. The only way to stop it would be to lobby.
Without special laws helping the companies (which is true for every other aspect of life as well ) they would just get a bloody nose. They may shut down WeLeveLj004ca$$.com, but they need a reason: they sell intellectual property. Wait they dont sell it. They dont sell the gold, they sell the time it takes to get said gold. Sure they break the EULA but who cares? EULA =! law.
So if they claim that its illegal to sell your time to get the gold / stuff (the intellectual property thing may not work in court, so you need a reason), they themself CLAIM that it has a value. Have fun paying compensation to 100.000 users after a server crash. Sure your not allowed to sell it, but it STILL has a value. Guess how many of them will sue?

Thanks again for the info. If you find others, you can also submit to support.guildwars.com, if you like.

While I appreciate what you're doing, you should make yourself a bit more unequivocal about details like these.
Also, is anything being done about the ebaying of ingame items/accounts? If Anet are against botting and farming then they ought to get rid of the main reason for people doing it (RL Cash).

I assume the vast majority of botters have been eliminated with the introduction of keys. I don't think there is a problem in that area now.
The only bots left are the ones spamming "wu qi nu xi blah blah" and the random invite hunting party bots.
Not such a serious threat IMO.
What courses of action ArenaNet takes on bots i.e. investigations, tracking is a matter of their own business and nobody outside of ArenaNet gets confided in.
Why people want to pay for pretend items and gold is beyond my understanding. ******g idiots.
"WTT my pretend money for your real money"

Correct me if Im wrong but is'nt Anet made of of exblizzard developers?
I know from read various threads and other sites that they have had quite a few developers leave blizzard for anet.
BLIZZARD BLOWS <--- Just my opinion though.

Oh c'mon! You are obviously forgetting about Primal Rage!
Me and my dad used to have a blast on that for hours and hours. All that gore and those secret combo's. I'm sure there was something in the manual that stated "just try to press lots of buttons to find some secret moves"
IMO Anet is composed of the best elements of blizzard. I just wonder if the PR characters would ever make it into the 3-D world of Tyria. I wish.
Yeah, i know they were basically dinosaurs but the skills and battle tactics are pretty much the same.
Sauron had a skill like cry of frustration, diablo had phoenix, vertigo was a W/Me, blizzard was a water ele.
You are of course entitled to your opinion, unless of course my post has changed your mind?
